What we collect

Your account (email address, and phone number if you add one). What you record in the app: time entries, plans, routines, goals, categories, and notes. If you connect them, calendar events and Apple Health data (sleep, workouts) — read only to draw your own days. If you use voice capture, your words are transcribed and processed to fill in your records. If you link a bank through Plaid, we store your transactions and an encrypted access token — never your bank credentials. Payments run through Stripe; your card number never touches our servers.

What we do with it

One thing: run the app for you. Our AI features (drafting your day, filing entries, the coach) process your data to serve you and keep a small set of learned facts you can see and delete in the app. We do not sell your data, show ads, or share your records with anyone except the processors below, and only so the app can work.

Who touches the data

  • Railway (hosting and database)
  • Anthropic (AI processing — not used to train their models)
  • Plaid (bank connections, only if you link one)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Amazon SES / Resend (email), Twilio (text messages you opt into)

Health and calendar data

Health and calendar access happen on your device, with your permission, and can be revoked in iOS Settings any time. What syncs to us is only what appears in your own records (a Sleep block, a workout). We never use health data for advertising, never sell it, and never share it beyond the hosting that stores your account.

Your rights

Ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it — email contact@lifeisnotalist.com and we'll do it within 30 days. (In-app deletion and export are coming; email works today.) These rights apply to everyone, not only where a law requires them.

The boring essentials

Data lives on servers in the United States. We keep it while your account exists and delete it when you ask. The app is not directed at children under 13. If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
